Membership Recruitment Event!

 

The Texas Section AWWA is the largest single state section in the AWWA family.  Our growth over the last ten years has been strong and we want to keep it that way.  Our most recent membership survey tells us that we are doing a number of things right and providing our members with the leadership they need in Texas.  And, with AWWA,  the largest organization in the world representing water professionals standing with us, members have the strength and opportunities to make a difference.

Beginning March 1, 2008 and running through October 31, 2008, any current Texas Section AWWA member who recruits 8 or more new Individual or Operator/Administrative members (does not include Student memberships) will become eligible for a random prize drawing of three great prizes. 

 

The Prizes are an IPOD Classic (160gb), or an IPOD Nano (8gb) or an IPOD Shuffle (1GB).  You also become eligible for the current AWWA membership recruitment campaigns.

 

For the MAKE IT 8 IN TWENTY -OH- EIGHT Campaign, recruiters must place their member number in the appropriate place on the membership application (including online) to receive credit for the new member.

To be eligible a current member must recruit 8 or more new members between March 1, 2008, and October 31, 2008.  Memberships must be paid for by November 1, 2008 to be considered. Records will be based on the AWWA database.  All eligible entries will be placed in a random drawing for each of the three prizes.  Only one prize per eligible entry. If fewer than three eligible entries are received, then prizes will be awarded to those who have recruited the most Individual or Operator/Administrative members during the event time period based on total number of those recruited.  Minimum number of new members for alternative process is 5.  Not all prizes will be awarded if minimums are not met. There is no cash value to the award(s).  Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Decision of the judges will be final.  For more information, email mikehowe@tawwa.org.
