TWDB Hosts Water Loss Symposium

The Texas Water Development Board will host a Water Loss Symposium on Thursday, August 22, 2013. The symposium will be held in the Stephen F. Austin Building, 1700 N. Congress, Austin, Texas, from 2:30 to 5:00 PM in Room 170.

The topics will address the process and benefits of a water loss audit, strategies for reducing loss, an overview of water loss in Texas, and a look at national data initiatives. With the ongoing drought in Texas, newly required water loss audits, and upcoming revisions to water conservation plans, water suppliers, planners, consultants, and policy makers should find this symposium timely and beneficial.
