Young Professionals Interest Survey
This committee is responsible for the managing the specifics of Conservation Education and best practices for utilities to use to help its customers and the public understand how to conserve water.
Topics ranges from developing incentives programs, setting conservation-oriented rates, installing smart controllers and other irrigation technologies, utilizing drought tolerant plants and adopting innovative educational methods to teach customers how much water they use and how to be more efficient.
The Committee also provides training to utilities on how to meet State requirements for reporting on Water Conservation and Drought Management plans.
The Committee coordinates efforts with regional water efficiency networks, the Texas Water Conservation Advisory Council, and the Alliance for Water Efficiency.
