To support the goals of the Division, the Committee is launching a blog on the TAWWA.org website to highlight existing utilities and programs across the state. This blog will provide valuable information on existing programs and highlight how more information on the programs can be obtained, thus creating an online database of water education resources.

“One Water – Many Stories”

This month features "One Water - Many Stories", a pre-recorded video of the joint utility resources program from the 2015 Texas Water Conference courtesy of our pals at the City of Corpus Christi.

The water utility industry has seen a major shift over the past few years as the line between water and wastewater begins to blur and people embrace the idea of “one water.” From small to large utilities, there are many unique water stories throughout Texas, each with their own successes, failures and innovative approaches to gain community support and acceptance.

Join us in a collaborative, storytelling environment as we learn about the tools and resources used by El Paso Water Utilities, the City of Wichita Falls and the San Jacinto River Authority before, during, and after their highly visible and politically charged water projects. Then hear how a utility can easily implement a program tailored to its own unique situation.
