Committees: Regional Activities

The Texas AWWA has Chapters organized and located throughout the state that provide opportunities for members and potential members to participate on a regular basis with water professionals.

The Regional Activities Committees provides guidance to Chapters and Student Chapters to benefit members.

These Chapters provide an opportunity for members to actively participate in a localized area when the opportunity to participate on a national level may not be convenient.  Chapters meet on a routine basis and provide training and networking with other water professionals related to water issues.

Members can form Chapters or Student Chapters of the Texas Section of AWWA by requesting approval of the Board of Directors of the Texas Section and agreeing to abide to the bylaws and operating documents of the Texas Section.

If there is a Chapter in your area, connect to the Chapter page and find out when and where they meet.

If you're a member, this is a great opportunity to meet and build relationships with your peers in the water community.

If you're not a member, this is your opportunity to attend with other water professionals, share ideas and information and see what Texas AWWA has to offer.

And if your are a member and want to start a Chapter in your area, let us know.
